Neolium mosquito repellent lamps use ultraviolet technology to attract mosquitoes inside or near the product, then electric or air traps to eliminate them by electrocution, decapitation or drying. These products can be used indoors only if they are not waterproof (IP20 rating) or both inside and outside the home if they are waterproof with IP44 rating.
Different methods to eliminate pests
The main method of killing insects is electrocution upon contact with the voltage grid of the pest control device.
The mosquito is attracted by the scattering of ultraviolet rays at a specific wavelength, then it is automatically eliminated on contact with the grid. There is also an alternative method by drying the insect by removing the ambient air. It is also attracted by ultraviolet, then sucked in and decapitated by the built-in fan blades or dried up by the lack of oxygen.
All Neolium products apply these methods to eliminate mosquitoes effectively and without odor or additional equipment.
